BUSINESS CASE

Groupe Groupama

Managing learning across various entities

01 OVERVIEW

Groupama, a leading insurance provider in France, is made up of 27 legally and strategically independent regional entities. To strengthen the consistency of its training practices and support the transformation of learning methods, the Group has chosen to implement a single, shared training management solution.

This ambitious project aims to standardize processes, encourage the involvement of all training stakeholders, and offer a modern, multimodal digital learning experience to all employees.

03 CONTEXT & CHALLENGES

Groupama faces several specific challenges. The organization is made up of 27 legally, financially, and strategically independent entities, each having developed its own training practices, tools, and priorities. This heterogeneity complicates overall management and undermines process consistency — particularly regarding regulatory and financial aspects, which require strict tracking of training plans, budgets, and legal obligations.

At the same time, the Group aims to modernize its learning approach by incorporating diverse formats that combine in-person sessions, remote learning, and collaborative methods, while ensuring optimal accessibility across all devices — smartphones, tablets, and PCs. A key objective is to provide a unified portal that allows each regional entity to showcase and promote its own training offer, while maintaining a consistent and coherent learning experience at the Group level.

In a context where the engagement of learners, managers, and training leaders has become a strategic driver, the project seeks to foster buy-in from all stakeholders and strengthen their commitment to a shared and accountable approach.

Key Challenges:

  • Standardize and automate training management processes across all entities

  • Develop a multimodal and innovative learning approach

  • Encourage employee and manager engagement and buy-in

  • Simplify the administrative, logistical, and financial management of training activities

  • Create a flexible common foundation that respects the local specificities of each entity

“We chose Bealink to support us because it’s a seamless solution — both for employees and for the back office. You can’t tell the difference. On top of that, the platform, its processes, and visuals can all be customized for each entity, allowing them to maintain their own identity and way of working.”

04 THE SOLUTION

My University : managing learning across various entities

To support Groupama in this transformation, we are deploying a structured, phased approach centered around a unified, scalable, and customizable platform.

01 Unified portal and process alignment

We are implementing a portal that operates seamlessly, with no visible difference for employees or back-office teams. This unified foundation encourages the alignment of training processes at the group level while respecting the specific needs of each entity.

02 Gradual deployment and change management support

The platform is fully customizable: its interface, workflows, and visuals can all be adapted to the unique identity and internal processes of each of the 27 entities. This flexibility ensures a consistent experience while preserving the individuality and autonomy of each regional structure.

03 Learning modalities and blended training

Bealink serves as the backbone of a multimodal learning environment, including in-person training, remote learning, virtual classrooms, and collaborative content. The platform, branded as “Mon Université” across the group, is accessible on all devices — smartphones, tablets, and PCs — enabling learners to train anytime, anywhere, at their own pace.

04 Centralized management and cross-entity training

The solution supports the implementation of a group-level training organization capable of distributing content across entities, despite Groupama’s decentralized structure. It enables shared use of learning resources, standardization of quality, and greater overall consistency.

05 Custom integrations with internal tools

The platform integrates with other internal systems used at Groupama, such as payroll, expense management, business applications, and specific training tools. Regular integration projects are handled by a dedicated team that is deeply familiar with Groupama’s environment and delivers tailored solutions during version upgrades and evolving needs.

“We have a dedicated Bealink team that truly understands our environment and is proactive in offering solutions. The platform is constantly evolving with our input. It delivers features that meet today’s needs — and keeps evolving with our feedback.”
