03 CONTEXT & CHALLENGES
In 2022, L’Oréal launched the “One HR” project, aimed at unifying all HR systems within a single HCM platform (SAP SuccessFactors). As learner expectations continued to rise, a clear need emerged: to offer more personalized, interactive, and career-aligned learning experiences. It was within this context that the “One Learning” initiative was born — with the key objective of delivering a single, dedicated learning platform, seamlessly integrated with SAP SuccessFactors and fully aligned with L’Oréal’s broader “One HR” vision.
Key Challenges:
Enhance the learner experience beyond the capabilities of a traditional LMS
Leverage their skills and job framework (500+ skills) to strengthen their skills-based approach
Deliver a highly personalized experience tailored to individual skill profiles
Boost engagement through social collaboration and gamification
Put data at the center of decision-making and continuous improvement
Preserve and nurture L’Oréal’s culture of excellence and innovation
“At L’Oréal, we have extremely high standards when it comes to digital — and we take pride in having a solution that meets the needs of our L&D managers, but above all, those of our employees.”

Global Director for Learning Excellence & Innovation @L'Oréal

04 THE SOLUTION
One Learning : Towards a skill-based organisation
To support L’Oréal in its initiative, we propose a global, integrated, and skills-based approach with Bealink LXP — ensuring seamless interoperability with SAP SuccessFactors.
01 Premium design
Bealink LXP, and specifically its Learning Pages feature, enables L’Oréal to build an advanced visual experience fully aligned with its brand identity. The platform offers complete freedom in visual design and adapts to all digital formats, ensuring a consistent user experience and smooth access across all devices.
02 A personalized, skills-driven learning experience
Learning journeys are centered around skills development, with intelligent content recommendations based on each learner’s interests, role, and career progression — all accessible directly from the homepage. Learners also benefit from a dedicated skills dashboard where they can track all their acquired competencies, whether role-specific or career-oriented. The experience is tailored, with targeted learning paths aligned to business priorities and individual career goals.
03 An engaging digital experience
With Bealink, L’Oréal delivers an interactive, collaborative learning experience through features like social learning, shared playlists, and peer-to-peer exchange. Gamification is integrated to increase learner engagement and motivation. The entire platform is accessible in the flow of work via our Microsoft Teams application.
04 Data as a strategic driver
Our solution provides native integration with SAP SuccessFactors, enabling the collection and use of accurate, detailed data. All learning data generated in Bealink flows back into SAP SuccessFactors, supporting consolidated reporting.
05 Change management support
Bealink has implemented a structured, transparent governance model, with close monitoring of key performance indicators via dedicated dashboards. Targeted activation campaigns are deployed to ensure team buy-in and accelerate platform adoption.
“One of our key priorities was data integration between Bealink and SAP SuccessFactors. To ensure a seamless experience, it was essential that data — especially completion data — flowed correctly from Bealink back into SAP.”
